For optimal results, artwork must be submitted as a one colour (black) EPS, Illustrator or PDF vector file with text converted to outlines. Vector based files can be enlarged without compromising quality. Vector artwork does not have a resolution or “dots per inch” measurement.
Unacceptable Artwork
Do not have:
- Greyscale
- Colour (although we can usually convert solid colour to black)
- Gradient shading (colour changing over an area)
- Drop shadows
- Bit-mapped images such as a jpeg, true vector artwork edges will always be smooth
Acceptable Artwork
Artwork should have:
- All one colour (Black)
- Gradients removed, solid black colour
- Drop shadows removed
- True vector file with smooth, scalable edges
