WineBox.ca is the beverage division of Quintessential Canada Inc., Canada’s largest manufacturer of wooden wine and gift boxes. We build custom wood boxes for wineries, distilleries and RTD beverage brands that need packaging to carry the brand before the bottle is even opened.

Every box uses box-joint construction — no staples or nails — in select Eastern White Pine, for 1 to 12 bottles in formats from 375 ml icewine to 1.5 L magnum. In-house hot-stamp branding and laser engraving keep design, production and finishing under one roof.

We are structured for commercial production — seasonal releases, wine-club shipments, distributor rollouts and repeat programs — not one-off personal orders. Your specifications are kept on file so a run of 12 today and 1,000 next quarter still match.

Custom Branding Options

A 20-ton hot-stamp press debosses your artwork directly into the wood for a clean, permanent impression. Laser engraving suits small runs, sequential numbering and added names. We email a layout for approval before production.

Imprint branding is created with a 20 ton heated press for a debase image which is generally for larger volume or repeat projects. Laser engraving is used for smaller, one time runs or on top of water based stain for a reverse image.

Box-Joint Construction

Interlocking box joints instead of staples or nails. Sliding lids are CNC-cut with rounded corners so they glide, and the base is inset into a glued groove — roughly double the rigidity, which matters under the weight of full bottles.

Our boxes are assembled using box joint construction which is a traditional method of joinery that adds strength and a premium look to your contents.

Commercial packaging needs a different level of planning than a consumer gift box. Our wine boxes are manufactured with:

Standard sliding-lid boxes are usually in stock and ship within days; add a few weeks for branding, laser engraving or oiling. Include your required delivery date and we will confirm a schedule.

What is the minimum order?

12 boxes. We handle everything from that minimum through commercial-volume and repeat production programs — send us your estimated quantity and we will recommend the most economical approach.

How are the boxes built?

How do you brand wine boxes?

A 20-ton hot-stamp press debosses your artwork directly into the wood for a clean, permanent impression. For small runs, sequential numbering or added names, laser engraving is the better choice — no die charge and lower setup. Supply a one-colour vector file with text converted to curves.

Do you ship to the United States?

Yes. We ship across Canada and to the United States, and our Canadian-made boxes qualify for duty-free entry into the U.S. where applicable under current trade requirements.
